Great food, good service, fair price. Unfortunately due to high demand this place is unable to keep up with the amount of people it serves. 30minutes to sit, 30minutes to receive the food. Make sure you eat a toast before going there if you are really hungry.
Staff was nice but service was horrible. My order was also not right but I understand things happen. I heard so many good things about this place but honestly the quality/taste of the food was no better than IHOP. The only good thing is they have reasonable prices.
Came in today for late breakfast with my family to enjoy brunch..... I must say that I did not enjoy their services I thought it was just the hostess bad attitude when I asked her where the restroom was ... she just pointed and said, " back there". Let's just say that I thought it was in the kitchen, as her direction was not clear Fast forward to our dining service- my mother in law ordered the Florida waffles that was suppose to come with fruit but instead got a plain waffle with no fruit. We asked our waitress where the f... read more
The wait for breakfast was more than 30 minutes. Not a word of English being spoken and screaming children were continuously part of the dining experience. The food served was a nice salad for my date (she had no complaints) and my breakfast combination. I was served two scrambled eggs (they were fine) and some rather smarmy home fries and two English Muffins. No big issues. The side order of bacon was mostly raw, and basically inedible. Why serve raw bacon? How much harder is it to actually cook bacon to a point wher... read more
Food is very bland. Not many options. Wish they had more of a variety of things. I think if your going to simple things like pancakes or waffles, then it's a good place to go. However most people like variety and they just don't have it.
We have been going to Keke's for many years here in the Orlando area. It was very exciting to see a location opening up here in the Lake Nona area. However, this location has not been up the same quality standards we have been used to. Three different times now, my husbands eggs Benedict has been undercooked to the point where the eggs were raw on the inside. Each time we received the same excise. "They were training someone new in the kitchen." The last time a manager didn't even come over or were we compensated in anyway. ... read more
Pretty standard breakfast/lunch fare. I had higher hopes since the restaurant was pretty crowded and had pretty good reviews. We needed to wait about 10 minutes to be seated on a weekend afternoon. The service was fast and nice. They had a lot of choices on the menu. I wasn't super impressed with the food. I got a breakfast wrap that had eggs and choice of veggies. The first half was pretty good, but the second half was sitting in oily liquid that had leaked it and it got pretty soggy and hard to eat. The home fries were a... read more
The quality of food is ok, nothing special. The part that upset me and that made me write this review is the nickle and diming that I experienced this weekend. I ordered a sandwich that did not come with mayo so I asked for mayo. When my bill came I was charged $.50 for the mayo, when it was brought to the attention of my server her response was, " yeah I know it is annoying, but they are making us charge for that now". Really $11 for a sandwich and chips and you have the nerve to charge me for mayo! Just because it is Lake ... read more
My wife and I have gone to the Lake Nona KeKe's a few times, and this place is unbelievable on what they charge you for. I just wanted to add a Belgian Waffle to my omelet meal, and they charged me $5 EXTRA for this one waffle. I could have purchased a whole box of Belgian Waffles at Publix for this amount. They also charge you if you want extra mayo ($.50 each). My wife and I have eaten Dinner at Longhorn, Nona Blue, Outback, etc, and many other places for cheaper than it costs to have a breakfast for two at Keke's. Th... read more
