One of the few breakfast spots in the area, Keke's is located in the plaza across the street from Citrus Park Mall. Being one of the few, it gets very packed on the weekends so get there early if you're looking to grab a bite! We came on a Sunday around 1130 and there was definitely a line. People were waiting outside the building to get in. We put our names in and were told there was a 25 minute wait. We were seated in about 20 minutes. Looking at the menu the one thing that stood out to me was the amount of items that contain bananas. Our first time at Keke's did not disappoint. Our server, Carina, was delightful and helpful. Waffle with fresh strawberries and pecans with whip cream was scrumptious! Eggs over easy were properly cooked and breakfast potatoes alone are worth the trip. The servers help each other so our food was delivered hot and the coffee was always full.
If we left hungry, it was our own fault, because the portions they give you are huge. We both enjoyed a delightful lunch, some of which we took home to enjoy later. The waitress was delightful and the manager was very friendly and took the time to ask us how our meal was. We would go back to Keke's in a heartbeat.
Great omelets and service. Consistently good, which is rare in Tampa Bay for a restaurant. I recommend the western omelet and the silver dollar pancakes with choc chips. Yum.

Nice surprise!! Never even knew it was there - errands in area and Yelp led us to an addition to a favorite!! Modern atmosphere with upbeat and welcoming staff. As nice as that was....the food - presentation beautiful and the taste ... WOWZERS!! Huge portions (we split and no extra charge for that). As great as it all was, the delicious food was phenomenal!! Over all a great experience. Yelp comes through again!
Not a bad breakfast spot at all. Sort of a strange area, I never expect to be driving into a mall plaza when I go to breakfast, but it leads to ample parking. Very standard breakfast place, reliable and you know exactly what you are getting. We got a banana chocolate chip pancake with a side of crispy bacon and eggs Florentine. Both were great, the bacon was actually crispy which was a huge plus. Service was fast, refilled our coffee's and waters asap.
I love this place! The food items have really high quality and the service is amazing. Keke's serves more traditional American style brunch and has a lot of options, but personally, I recommend the Florida style waffles. Would definitely come again!
