Our group wanted to go eat at Keke's. I've never been but I've heard a lot of hype about this spot. It's first come first serve; and we waited about 45 mins to be seated. You need to come in and put your name on the waitlist and then will text you when your table is ready. I really wish they had a reservation/waitlist system. It would be extremely helpful. KeKe's is my breakfast, brunch spot. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The food is excellent. I usually get the 3 eggs omelette with several ingredients and the home style potatoes; and when I'm really hungry I add a side of their delicious bacon. (I can never eat me entire meal) My family on the other hand has tried many dishes and never been disappointed. Today was exceptional!!! Because... I had a little problem with my omelet. After an early doctor's appointment is the best time for brunch, so we tried a new place - Keke's. Open until 2:30 with breakfast served all day. Everyone was friendly and we were seated right away at one of a multitude of booths. Perusing the menu I could see that we would spend about $30 for 2. That's with no coffee or juice or milk and excluding tip. I say this because I believe that $15 for 1 very large pancake, 2 eggs and 4 slices of bacon (2 would have been fine) is expensive. Hunger and ready to try something new. My husband and I gave Keke's a try. We arrived a little before 1:30pm was greeted and seated immediately at the booth table with the kitchen window as my husband's backdrop. I like that you can see behind the scenes in the kitchen.
