Great place to stay on the Kenai Peninsula! We were a large group and stayed in the lodge, which had large comfy couches, a deck overlooking the river, and a sauna. There was also a fire pit and marshmallows are provided. It is rustic to some extent, but not childhood sleepaway camp rustic. There are three bedrooms and two baths downstairs and two bedrooms and two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. Each room slept between 3 and 4. We had an excellent day fishing with James from Drifters Lodge! He definitely knew what he was doing when it came to catching fish. Not only was he thorough in his instructions but patient and fun! Good taste in music and movies �

We did a 1/2 day drift fishing trip on the Upper Kenai and it was a fantastic experience. We had a large party of 10, so we had three boats and guides. They worked together to make the pre and post experience smooth. The guides themselves were fantastic! We stayed at the Russian House and it was well worth the splurge! Beautiful place!
