We had a great time yesterday. Our guide Jacob was awesome. We’ve lived in Alaska our whole lives but haven’t taken the opportunity to do the “tourist” stuff, until the last few years. I would recommend you guys to anyone looking for a nice river sight seeing trip. Plus the fire pit over looking the river was a beautiful view and the large jinga was fun to play

We so enjoyed our stay at your lodge. I was very pessimistic and very unhappy about Evan rowing us out to go fishing instead of having a motored boat however, he did so well and did such a great job keeping us safe and showing us a good time. We will definitely keep you in mind for our next trip to Alaska and will spread the word of your great efforts in showing us a good time. Tell Evan we thank him for everything. I’ve never seen a person be able to row that far and never get tired. He’s the bomb!

The cabins are extremely nice and very clean. The owner, Bob, was very personable and friendly. The staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming. We did an all day fishing trip with guide Ben Hulbert who was fantastic. We reached our limit of fish in the first hour. I highly recommend this place. I brought my husband here for his birthday and we couldn’t have been more pleased. A++++ We will be back here for sure!

Four of us just returned from 4 days of fishing at Drifters....2 float trips for salmon, trout and Dolly Varden, a hike-in to the Russian River for salmon and trout; and a fly in to an alpine lake for Grayling. Everyone caught fish. All the guides were excellent and the staff at Drifters were extremely friendly and helpful. The scenery is spectacular, as is the drive from Anchorage. One of the guides, a fellow Tarheel, planted the seed when I visited the Drifters booth at the Atlanta Fly Fishing Show. Reading the literat... read more

Loved coming back here, even if it was to get our fishing gear setup! Feels like home! Next time, we will book earlier, so we don’t miss out staying here again. Awesome place!
