MJ did a great job as a raft guide! He spotted lots of bald eagles. It was amazing how he knew so much about the land that runs along the Kenai River. He had a great sense of humor. When one of the other guys on the raft said he wanted to see a bear MJ said that there was a bear it turned out it was teddy bear with a straw hat. Overall it was a great experience.

MJ did a great job guiding our rafting trip!!!! Knew about the area. He took my daughter and me on a float trip while husband and sons fished. Take the 3 hour float trip so you will see the area where the fish remnants float to (off the Russian) and there were 8 or 9 eagles to include juveniles.

I appreciated that they have also their own fishing guides. I went out with Josh and Will and they not only taught me new techniques but also made me catch some g... read more

We had a lovely stay here, just happened upon the Drifter's Lodge when we were passing through and they were very welcoming. The cabins are very nice and cozy, the sauna which looks onto the river was an unexpected bonus!
