Very Poor
Disappointing The bathroom is a big problem first of all I do not like bathrooms where you have to leave the toilet area to wash your hands but the tub shower was so difficult to get it. I am a 5 foot six tall woman and I had to sit on the side of the tub to put my legs over and found it very uncomfortable someone shorter than they would have a much more difficult problem… Also the stairs going up and down were high. Convenient location but rooms need to be updated with everything. Everything everything in the room is very old. The first floor rooms do not have any window that open and matte glass to avoid see through as both entrances face in the main hallway. There is a musty smell in our room and could not let the door open to ventilate. Keyless room was convenient. It was quiet and bed was comfortable. It is walking distance to the beach and restaurants and a few minutes drive from downtown and other beaches.
Nice staff, but disappointing stay. The price for this EXTREMELY basic room and accommodations was astronomical. In any other area, you’d pay under $100/night for this type of motel. The motel itself is quite dated, the grounds are not particularly well kept, the hotel furnishings were cheap and disjointed and the bed was very uncomfortable. Poor It was run down, dirty, strong urine stench by the ice machine. The room was run down, a/c and fridge were loud and in need of servicing. Carpet was stained and gross. Bathroom tub wasn’t very clean and there was water and black mold spots in the ceiling above the tub-gross and hazardous! Parking wasn’t easy, they didn’t seem concerned about COVID cleaning or procedures. They had throw pillows that cannot be washed on the bed. Pillows were flimsy, mattress was super bouncy. Very Poor SEPTIC TRUCKS CAME TWICE DURING OUR VISIT. THE PARKING LOT OVERFLOWED TWICE WITH SEWARAGE. SMELL WAS AWFUL. CARPET ON WALKWAYS TO ROOMS WERE WET EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO RAIN. BATHROOM WAS SO SMALL. NO STORAGE FOR ANY TOILETRIES AROUND SINK. LOCATION WAS GREAT WALKING DISTANCE TO THE MARINA AND RESTAURANTS
