We enjoyed our stay. The shower looked liked it needed to be updated The size of the room was much appreciated!

Good room just think they should train their staff to make everyone feel welcome. The staff at the desk I have stayed at this property before and this stay they made me pay a deposit in CASH because the card I use is a business card with my son's name on it. The person who was at the desk was not helpful. I told her I stayed there before and did not have to pay a deposit. She was going to call the GM but they didn't answer and so that was that. Good I received a call from the front desk around 12:45 on the day of our expected arrival. We were traveling so I missed the call. I had read check in time was 3:00 or after. It never said i had to be there promptly at 3:00. I received a message from Brooke at the front desk at about 4:00 stating that if she didn't receive a call back in the next 5 minutes my reservation would be cancelled and if I showed up and they still had a room they could accommodate me. Our check in time does begin at 3pm and goes until 12am. We do have check in after 12am by setting up a late check in with our Over Night Attendant. Close to Kemah Boardwalk No breakfast ;( not even a grab and go ....but we understand because of safety issues! We only live an hour and a half away and we wanted to get away for the weekend because my daughter was celebrating her seventh birthday and she wanted to swim in a hotel. Perfect Stay Nothing it was great Check in was quick and easy. Ashley was very friendly and gave us info for local attractions which really helped. Kids had a great time swimming in the pool. Hotel was very clean. Owners run the property and very friendly and helpful when needing a jump for our car. Will tell friends and family and will return for our next Kemah Boardwalk visit.
