This is a favorite spot for dining. On this recent visit the food was as good as always, the portions were generous and the atmosphere, while slightly dated, was comfortable - moderate noise levels that enabled conversation without shouting and comfortable chairs. The service was not up to snuff on this visit - perhaps a staff shortage. Our expectations were greater than what we received. Food was just okay. It was not worth the amount of money paid. Very disappointed. Our server, Chris, was excellent.

La Strada has become one of our local favorites, and for good reason—it serves some of the best pasta dishes on earth. As someone raised in an Italian American family from Chicago, I can say the flavors here are authentic and unforgettable. We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday, and the lamb chops were absolutely incredible. Perfect atmosphere, amazing food, and always a memorable experience! Highly recommend. Bravo from the Venturas!
