I was just a youngster when I first set foot in Lakeside (it was the original building at that time, next door to the current location) with my parents and our dog. Since then, I have many happy memories and some sad, yet caring, memories of my time with them. I remember Dr Frank doing surgery on my parakeet and that little fellow living many years after that.
