Cartridge won't work- BAD return policy One of the black cartridges was opened up and yet it won't print anything...the Brother picture of the ink level shows empty...brand new cartridge..still sealed on the original package. I just saw I can't return after 30 days which is rediculous because I always keep an extra on hand at home so I don't have to panic the moment I run out!!! I WILL NOT BE ORDERING INK FROM AMAZON AGAIN. I have dozens of other places to buy these.
Printer didn't recognize; didn't work Fresh out of the packaging, installed and got error message: Cannot detect ink volume...replace with genuine Brother....
Zero pages The return window expired before I needed to install this cartridge, which printed nothing after several attempts at maintenance. The previous cartridge was doing fine, until it was signaled to replace.

Doesn't yield 550 (black and white plain text) pages The letters and all the pages are printed crisply but, I have a 500 page pack of plain printer paper, and still have at least 200 pages left. That's 300 pages over two LC203BK cartages (one that came with the printer and this one I bought. Now I am on the third cartridge. I looked back at the old ones and saw a lot of unused ink, even though the printer said it was low and refused to print...
Less than 3 Months "Empty" I've used this maybe 10 times since I purchased it less than three months ago and it's already empty. These cartridges are terrible and the printer is an ink suck that requires me to purchase color ink even when I only want to print in black and white.
