Took kitty in for UTI. They took more than necessary tests. Sent her home with antibiotics. STILL has UTI. THIS place has done the same thing on my daughters kitty! They were given ALL antibiotics required. It seems that this place is Double-Charging. Very Sad.

Should not make people wait over a hour past their scheduled appointment time and not call other people that got there after us back before us I will never go back there again made us feel very unimportant! to them it was just a turtle but that turtle is my children's pet!

RecommendedLee summit animal hospital is a life saver! My 8 month old boxer, Tank, was very sick. I called them on a Friday at 3 pm asking for advice because he was just not acting right. He was throwing everything I gave to him and just looked awful. I ended up rushing him into the clinic not long after that with no appointment. They did 2 sets of xrays and found out he had an obstruction in his stomach and possible had something going on in his small intestine. Was told not come since the vet didn’t show up for 2 days. We called another Vet which came quickly and took care of the issues. Lee’s Summit showed up on the third day took off the bandage off his abscess and told us a tore ligament. So came out after being told not to come, caused more issues as the hoof had to be resoaked, repacked and bandaged again. Also the missed diagnosis but still sent us a bill.

I brought my husky in on Friday November 16th to be spayed and that was the last time I saw her alive. They called me at 12pm stating that the operation was finished and she was doing great. When I arrived there at 5:20pm, once I got off of work, they put me in a room and the vet told me that they had noticed internal bleeding at 4pm and they were taking her back in to operate. AMAZING. I have only been here a handful of times (for emergencies) but I absolutely love this business. You see, my normal vet is in Topeka and there’s been a few times where I can’t make the trip and need emergency care! Extremely disappointed. The second time we took our puppy their the vet kept asking us what shots our puppy was given the first time. It made us very uneasy since he had the chart. The next time I went he gave our puppy a steroid and didn't tell us the side effect. Two days later after my puppy had being urinating everywhere I called to see if that was a side effect. If I could give zero I would.. I purchased a ball python a while back and discovered it had mites. I called ls animal hospital to see if they had an exotic pet doctor since I take all my other furry friends there I wanted to stay local. They assured me Dr. Hertzog would be a great doctor for my snake. I took him in for a check up and to get some meds for his mites.
