I had planned on submitting a 5 star review for Leo's Pet Care over a week ago. After the incident I just experienced, I feel compelled to do so immediately. Our 4 month old Siberian Husky Lilo swallowed a sock 30 minutes ago. I called Leo's immediately but, as it is Sunday, nobody is in the office so nobody answered my call. Thank you for getting Kimbo in on the same day that I called! Dr Magnusson and the girls were super friendly (even when Kimbo peed all over the floor!) we will only be living in Indiana for a year or two but will definitely be using Leo's during our stay here! Thank you!

This is Bella's doctor. We have the vaccine for life and that has saved us so much money. But, after a trip to my groomer yesterday, she made a recommendation of shampoo and conditioner for her really dry skin. I called Dr. Magnusson and asked him about it. He went above and beyond to get it this prescription that is only available thru Banfield Pet Hospital. We love Leo's.
First time customer- My fur-babies, especially Peyton during her dental surgery, were very well cared for. She is healing really nicely. I enjoyed the friendly staff and will come back for all our needs.
Staff was great. All were kind to my little fur baby. Excited to have a place that will be 'home' for my dog, the vaccinations for life is a great benefit any veterinarian could offer to their clients. :)
Dr. Magnusson is wonderful. He really listens to what is going on with your pet, asks a lot of questions to get to the bottom of the problem, and thoroughly explains his diagnosis and how to treat the problem. On top of that, you leave feeling like he truly cares about the health of your dog and is not trying to just get as much money as he can out of you. Leo's is great. We did not have a vet since taking in two adult cats 6 months ago and recently had a pet emergency with one of the cats. I checked out Yelp reviews and other sources and balanced the reviews with proximity to my home (the cat does not like to be in the car) and Leo's came out on top. I called and easily made an appointment for the next morning, printed paperwork from their website and completed it at home to save in-office time and was treated warmly (both my pet and I) by the staff. Full disclosure... Leo's Pet Care is not my current vet clinic. I was going to switch to them a few years ago, because I had a great professional relationship with Dr. Magnusson while working at WTHR. Dr. Magnusson is caring and intelligent, and he was actually the one who told me not to switch vets if I wasn't unhappy with the care I was already receiving. We found Leo's through online reviews (on Yelp) and realized it's just down the street from us, so we thought we'd give them a chance when our darling pup, Stella, wouldn't stop shaking her head (an mighty ear infection, indeed). Dr. M was great -- he helped us understand what all was going on with Stella and answered all of our questions without making us feel like newbies in the pet parent world. I can't speak to how their prices compare to other places, but I don't care, because we trust Leo's.
