What is advertised as “free” checking is not free. If you don’t use it, you’re charged $10 per month and I was never notified of this. I was also notified that my originally advertised no-minimum balance savings account would have a fee deducted monthly. This should be illegal to change terms of an agreement that was made years ago. Accounts closed.
The new location is extremely inconvenient. It’s so hard to get in and out of. Whoever designed the curbing just really wasn’t thinking about safety or convenience. Be very cautious that you don’t damage your vehicle. Shouldn’t have to drive around the entire parking lot access to drive-through off of Woodward. I found it it’s more convenient to drive farther away to the Sheffield location where you can actually look at an actual person. Smart ATMs are just absolutely not where it’s at! Because since they have opened the new bank in muscle shoals they have bad attitudes. Before the new bank opened they refused to cash my 401 k check from Walmart which I have been at the same job for 23 years. I was told it was up to the young teller to hold my check for 14 days . Because she never saw a check like that . I have never seen a bad Walmart check before. Never trust whatever they say on their website regarding interest rates! It is all false. Don’t know if this is bait and switch or just negligent!! I would rate them a maybe a 2.5.

the listerhill in Sheffield is the rudest people I have ever met today the head teller as she informed me was pathetic and hateful. She will run the business in the ground. I asked to speak with someone else in charge and she refused
