We've been living here for nearly two years and it is a nice place to live. We love our third floor apartment with the vaulted ceiling and fire place. We would recommend to others.
I'm not sure what some people are complaining about; the staff is professional and helpful, the grounds are well-kept and the community as a whole is very safe. If you want zero noise, buy a house in the country! Pawleys Island is a great place to live and Litchfield Oaks is no exception.

We have really enjoyed living here. The only problem I see is I can hear my neighbors all the time and there's no enough outdoor lighting. Overall, the place is very safe and a great location to stay.

The apartments are over priced and they have a HUGE roach problem. The ceiling leaked and there was water damage on the stairwell. The appliances were very outdated and it took 4 trips and almost 2 weeks to fix the dishwasher. They left notes on the door saying there would be "scheduled maintenance" but no one ever came by. But I have a problem when I see an 18 wheel over the road rig parked in a residential area and when it is occupying a Handicap parking space. You may consider this luxurious, I call it a truck depot.
