I would give the Sealy Posturepedic Pro Lincoln Firm 5 stars! I was reluctant to purchase a firm mattress however after sleeping on it for a month the pillow top adds just enough softness to the feel of the mattress to give it a medium feel. You still get the firm support for your back without pressure points on your body.
I’m hesitant to share a review of this mattress, as people‘s sleeping preferences are so personal. We recently replaced a horrible mattress with this one and so far we are very happy with it! My husband and I are both sleeping much better on this well supportive mattress. We have only had it for approximately one month, but so far so good!
I bought online and the price should be 749.00 plus 66.00 tax for a total of 815.00
I ordered the Firm version of this mattress, but it felt more like a medium. I was wondering if I got the Plush version instead. It seemed well constructed and comfortable, but the side where I slept seems to have sagged quickly. I felt like I am sleeping in the lower side of a hill. Giving 3 start because the handling by the delivery persons was not proper as they dropped it from the truck to the ground instead of properly carrying it down. Happy so far happy with the mattress but it’s the customer and delivery service that really shine. I needed to get our gate code to the delivery people and the customer service line did an exemplary job in helping me to do that ~ the delivery guys were able to get to me and we kind, efficient and very tidy. We’re so pleased with the entire Costco service and delivery - exactly why I choose Costco over other retailers.
Firm means FIRM
This mattress has given us a very comfy sleep. Is it immune to shaping from large sleepers? Probably not entirely, but it is a long way better than the one it is replacing. The thickness at 14 in is kind of extreme so prepare yourself for sheets not to fit. However, they don't slide off like I worried they would. The cost was spot on and easily 1/3 of a competing mattress of this quality. We rest easy with the Costco guarantee knowing that if anything goes wrong we can get a replacement.
Have been sleeping on it for a couple of weeks and not sure if it helped relieve my back pain. Wife says that she doesn’t feel much different from the mattress we got rid of although the sides were worn down.
My review is mainly based on how professional Costco was to work with. I had a previous experience with Stearns and Foster which was disastrous. After them finally picking up the defective mattress I immediately ordered one from Costco. The mattress arrived in great condition and the team was outstanding. Costco shipping called in person to make sure everything was in line for delivery and they were available in person to handle any changes that may have been requested. I learned my lesson, go to Costco first.
