In general, I have been pleased with the services I have received at Madison Reed's Color Bar in Vernon Hills., Illinois. The business is extremely clean, and does not smell like hair coloring products. The first young lady who did my hair was extremely pleasant, and did a great job. I wish I could remember her name! I like the ease of going in there and they have my color information on file. Anybody can do it, it's pretty easy and somewhat reasonable. Great idea to have these color places in major shopping malls. Mariana and Wendy have been phenomenal.

Service is good but today their water heater was not working so water was tepid when hair was shampooed. In this cold weather it's not good even though you blow dry your hair the coldness /dampness stays when I was out and about the dampness / coldness gave me a headache, in this business they should have a backup system for the water heater.

Went were the first time recently and had a really great experience. Was there early and it was not crowded. Very clean, and my stylist was very professional. My hair came out great! Wasn't sure what to do after the shampoo, but they let you sit at this little station and dry your hair, or style as you would normally at home, that is, if you didn't pay for the extra style and blow dry. I would recommend to go back.

I can go as often as I want so my roots never are obvious. The color is nourishing and consistent. The colorists are kind and pleasant!
