I switched from coloring my hair at home to going to Madison Reed Color- Bar in Marietta GA since August 2020. I love and prefer getting my hair colored in the salon... why? I don't get hair color stains in my bathroom, they don't miss any spots, the color is gentle but covers my greys. The ambiance is joyful. The convenience: they start on time and in 1.25 hrs I am out the door. I can book my color appt online or they will book it. They have a wide assortment of colors. Highly recommend

My service was great but the instructions to call before coming in were a bit confusing since no one was manning the front desk. The employees were great but it seemed a little unfair that they were understaffed.

Went in today and got a gloss and a blowout. The visit started out rocky but ended well and happy with the results. I agree with other yelpers that it's really difgicult to get them on the phone. Not sure if this is a standard practice but there was no receptionist so while both colorists were assisting clients no one was available to answer the phone. I was very happy with my color and have been to the salon twice. I joined at the first session but now see multiple charges on my credit card all for more than the 55 I was quoted for monthly membership . The chat function on website is a robot answer and to speak with them you must call and leave a message (which I have done and am hoping to hear back). was suppose to have a appointment tomofro at 400pm but got a email at8pm tonight that it was at 4 today! not true was nov 26 and now they want to charge me 40 for a no show today will get appt card which i tried to get when i booked in person but they said they didn't have will be there tomorrow but I'm not happy i will insist on the fine print and cancellation policy i even tried to change my appointment to today but was never able to get anyone on the phone. i wonder how many other hidden fees there are they need to g... read more

My daughter arrived for her first appointment. Upon arrival she was told that she needed a parent. She is 17. So she had to cancel the appointment that she showed up for. They promptly charged me a $72.00 cancelation fee for the appointment they cancelled! We are disputing this charge but what a hassle. I would avoid doing business with this salon. Seems like this was a blessing is disguise reading the other reviews of inexperienced stylists.

Terrible service. Showed up with my daughter after we booked an online appointmen. Told my daughter they would not color her hair cause she was 17 but it didn't show that when booking the appointment.

Beware of the color bar. They employ disrespectful and poorly trained stylists. I spoke with Natalia regarding my hair and color expectations. I showed her a picture and was assured we could achieve something similar. Much to my dismay not only did she complain about coming into work SICK but said she was expected to complete the process within a certain timeframe even though there were not more than 2 other people there.
