When I first arrived for my appointment, I was told that the stylist had been double booked, so I would have to wait 30 minutes. While that wasn't the best start to my experience, it was at no fault to the stylist, as all appointments are made through a central office. Not going to lie, I've been looking at Madison Reed for a few weeks. I needed my roots done like yesterday. For the second time they used the wrong color on my hair - I have been going there for over a year and they started out getting it right!!! They asked me when I came in to confirm my colors?? Really??!!! I DO NOT know the colors - I said "auburn" my hair is brown - You can't reach anyone on the phone, the call center does not speak english. Went there to get my black hair dyed ash blonde. Color specialist said she couldn't do blonde but she could get it to a caramel color. I was disappointed but agreed to the caramel color. She did not give me caramel hair though, it is more of a dark cherry chocolate tint on black hair. It still looks black. I was also supposed to get a blowout, but I got a blow-dry and hair was curled with a flat iron. She gave me a side part and curled my hair without even asking if thats what I wanted. terrible services. I had full hair color service. They did not use barrier cream on the forehead and stained it black. Instead of helping me clean the stain, they comment on how to use moisturizer. its been 3 days the stain is still visible.no doubt product is good but the services are horrible. I could have done it at home with better skin protection. to fellow customers please make sure they apply barrier cream or else the stain wouldnt fade for at least a few days-week

STAY AWAY - Unless you like pain - want your hair ruined - and then after to be asked to tip!! This was my first experience at Madison Reed. Honestly, this place sucks. First, I had scheduled my appointment for May 14 and a day before the appointment, I received an email to confirm that my appointment would be May 13. I had to call off work because of this without a heads up from the company. Second, I showed the women a picture of what I wanted and she immediately said no without even suggesting anything. Made an appointment online for today, but arrived to find the salon closed. Called customer service and they confirmed my appointment and that the salon was supposed to be open. They called the salon while keeping me on hold and the stylist (Krystal) said the salon was open. The customer service rep suggested I was at the wrong location and I confirmed the address.
