Initially, we got off to a rocky start. This was on of my birthday treats to myself. I respect the fact that they made it right. The colorist was fantastic she was personable and friendly. The stylist was great, the blow dryer could have been a bit hotter to get my textured hair straighter. The colorist was amazing, although I think the color is a bit dark for me. Since it was my first time at least now I know and can go lighter next time. To the management of MR - thank you for making this experience better.

Yesterday, was my first time trying Madison Reed. I was slightly nervous due to a couple of bad reviews. I love this Madison Reed location. I get simple single-color root touch-ups and being a Madison Reed member makes it easy and a lot more affordable to get the bi-weekly touch ups I need. The color stylists are all nice and thorough, it's easy to get appointments, and Iove that this salon isn't too crowded either. The price of a blow dry isn't included in the root touch up, but it's fine with me since I have wavy hair that I like to diffuse dry myself. It's wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. The concept of unlimited root coloring a month sounds great. But the customer service needs a little work. I tried it out because my friends said they loved it ( at different locations). So I thought I try it. But when I went in today there were 4-5 clients there. They all looked miserable. The hair colorist looked equally miserable. No talking or interaction. The lady didn't even introduce herself to me. She showed me my color match then colored my hair. Absolutely loved my stylist!! She was very friendly and accommodating. My appointment was canceled by another stylist and she took me right away!! I got a balayage and she slayed it! It's so well blended and I got my first blow out by her and she did an amazing job. Thank you so much to Cyndi who's usually at the Torrance location!! she's amazing and a great asset to the team thank you!!

I like this place. Extremely Affordable. Bleached hair not as well taken care of I don't think they use olaplex, and they get a ton of dye on the forehead but other than that it's a great bargain and friendly staff !

I decided to try the location in Redondo Beach, CA for the first time. The experience exceeded my expectations and I love my new color! I received a balayage treatment by Erin and had fantastic service. She was very personable and in tune with listening to what I wanted. I went into Madison Reed with anticipation never being there before or going to any type of hair bar. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. My color technician was very sweet (Christina) , informative and professional. It was a fun experience and most importantly my hair turned out great. I have been twice now and my hair looks better each time I go. The entire team was wonderful and friendly.
