I have coming to this studio but they have recently had a few new people here and there. Time for me to switch to Torrance and give them a try. I have been unhappy with RB the last couple times and gave them a second chance and the new girl missed my side root grays. Seems to be a training factor issue here. There's a lot other studios to visit but MR should really provide the expertise to their customers who choose to get their hair done at their studio and not elsewhere. Lame! Made an appointment for highlights, came 10 minutes early, was told stylist had just gone on lunch. (Then why even set an appointment time?). When she showed, she said A: she couldn't do it without also a haircut (that's called an upsell) and B: that the Madison Reed in Redondo Beach couldn't do a highlight because they are "express". The website has prices and options for highlights but my vibe was this lady simply didn't want to spend the time to do it. Either way, lame bait & switch. Avoid!

If I had the option to -1 start, that's how I would start here. This place is a joke. I went there for root touch up last week and specifically told the guy who assisted me that my roots are a mix of level 6 and 7 equallu distributed. He went back and forth with an IPAD trying to match my color to the ones they make, whic by the way is OFF the chart across the board. I am in the root service membership and used it for the first time. The application and process was fine until after my shampoo and I realized the dye had stained my entire forehead and would not run off! The gal that applied my color should have been more careful with how much dye was left on my forehead bc it was about 1.5 inches from my hairline. But more disturbing was the brushes in the self dry area were not sanitized or clean. There was hair left in every single brush! I guess you need to bring your own supplies if ... read more
