I have been bringing my four pets to Maitland Veterinary Clinic for the last several years. Dr. Jordan and her staff are very compasionate and understanding. The doctor takes time to make sure that all instructions are understood and answers any questions that I have. It is great to see the same faces and receive warm greeting everytime I come in. This is a money hungry irresponsible vet office who does not provide quality care. When my wife expressed concerns in an email and later in a review, instead of taking accountability they initially ignored us and then made excuses. In their response to my wife's review they addressed that they "welcome the opportunity to review concerns" by contacting the office, however, we already bought the concerns to them directly and were ignored. In response to the business's reply, which offered no acknowledgment or apology for their wrongdoing: the care they told me my dog needed to be spread across 3 weeks and 4 separate visits was completed in ONE visit at another vet clinic. Front staff is great. After that, well....forget about doing anything else the day you have an appointment. You will wait a minimum of an hour to be seen. At my last visit, I was there for 90 minutes before the vet tech came to the exam room and said the doctor would be in shortly. After waiting another 30 minutes I had enough and left without my pet being seen. I'm seriously considering finding a new vet at this point.
We took our cat Pancake in because we suspected she had an ear infection. She was acting normal, jumping off and on the counters and furniture, eating and drinking like normal. Playful, happy, just irritated with her ear. They did the initial check up and discovered she did have an ear infection. They did not run any blood tests. They said her heart sounded off, and suspected heart disease. I hate writing negative reviews but for the safety of your animals, get a second opinion. First, it felt like pulling teeth to get answers about some bumps on my dog. They didn't keep track of the growth of these bumps and were so quick to schedule a surgery where they put her under and cut them off. I recently took my rescued kitten to Maitland Animal Hospital. When leaving the clinic, a technician, who is also this location's manager, failed to zip her carrier. While he was carrying her to my car, she escaped and he proceeded to chase her behind the clinic, across train tracks and into the surrounding neighborhood. This resulted in my kitten being lost for 4 days and during this time, I received little to no help in my efforts to bring my kitten home safely from the manager responsible or Dr. Duprey. The worst place in the world. The dr thinks she's to good to talk to you. When she does talk to you she doesn't listen. I waited 1 hr to see the dr. I don't like her. She asked dumb question. She never acknowledged my dog. I was told she examined him while away from me. Why not while she had him in the room with me. I think she was scared to touch him And it's obvious that he is gentle.
