When it comes to lasik, you definitely want to pay for the best, and I believe this was about as close to it as I could find in SoCal. Dr. Shamie was kind and comforting from beginning to end, and her team is what really made me decide to proceed. They legitimately care about your concerns, and will work through every last worry with you. The results have been incredible so far, and eyesight is one of the best things my money could buy.
I had Dr Shamie do both cataract eyes a week apart. Couldn't be happier - she is excellent and the experience was remarkable.!!

Surgery required little preparation on my part. Surgery was non invasive, painless and quick. Recovery was so minimum I was able to see after surgery and leave within 15 minutes. Nurses and doctors were professional but friendly and considerate. Dr. SHAMIE was awesome. She was visited several times prior to surgery and after. Even called me at home to check on me. I can see better than ever and everything is crisp and clear. (Cataracts removed and Toric lenses inserted.). What a beautiful world in which I live!!
