Just love the place so glad it’s back. Reservations are also available. That’s a big plus
The restaurant building is beautiful, the food is meh, especially for the price. You cannot beat the ambiance, but I would maybe only recommend drinks and apps, and then eat dinner elsewhere, especially at those prices.
The food was very good and the desserts we're outstanding! The service lacked a bit and should be improved on for such a restaurant. All in all, it's definitely a place to visit and we'll be back.
The space is a still intact traditional vintage mansion! The food was great . The service was very attentive ! The cocktails were better than anticipated, with fresh squeezed OJ for the screwdriver . The portions and pricing are better than DT GR restaurants. Being able to make a reso. with 2 little ones was a HUGE selling point for us .
We love Paddock Place for the ambience and the memories...we were married there (when it was Gibson's) many years ago. The food was good, but not great. The history and the beauty of the building make it a special experience.
3rd visit in a row thatvqe weren't seated where requested. 2nd visit in a row our food was served within 3 min of appetizer. Last visit they forgot our salad. This visit was noisier than a bar. Won't be back for awhile.
By far the best steak I’ve had in Grand Rapids! I am obsessed and cannot wait to get back there. Even the champagne glasses made me feel special. Service was absolutely excellent beginning with the people at the door.
We came for my husband birthday and had a nice table by a fireplace. Our server worked very hard to take care of us even though she was managing many table in different areas. The food was OK nothing Id have to come back for. The noise level was perfect for our group of 3. We were able to talk and not have to scream at each other. Our party of four had eggs benedict (2), French toast, biscuits & gravy w/eggs. We were all incredibly happy. Our server Tyra was fantastic! We've been Sunday brunch regulars for two years and usually bring newcomers who also share our enthusiasm for Paddock Place.
