Amazing place to enjoy great food and perfect ambience.
Once we were seated we felt like royalty with the main room all to ourselves until we left. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. It would have been perfect if EDM music wasn't playing the whole time (it didn't fit the old rich estate vibe) and if it was just a bit warmer. Still, I'd definitely go again.
We had the best meal - steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus and the coconut curry chicken, the red skinned potatoes and a Caesar salad. We had great 1/2 price glasses of Cab and finished with creme brulee and cheesecake with big fresh raspberries. Our server Taryn (sp?) was great and very prompt. It was a lovely meal.
Items from the regular menu were very good and nicely presented. The daily special {steak frites} was poorly presented and half of the steak was too tough to cut. The ambiance and service were excellent.
The food was ok. Our waitress was friendly but never made any suggestions. Never asked if we wanted a salad with our entree or dessert after our food. Atmosphere was charming but really needs a redo not to looses the era but it all looks pretty warn. Probably won’t hurry back or recommend. To many other restaurants in the area that are much better.
Nice place to go for a meal. However, the music was quite loud, which made it difficult to carry on a conversation.
We visited Paddock Place for the first time since the Gilmore group has updated this building to its current identity. Oddly enough, when I attempted to get an earlier reservation than 7:15, there were none. But when we walked in at 7:00. hoping to be seated at least a little earlier, the place was half empty with all sorts of available seating. We were given our choice of tables/rooms.
