I had my awning installed two weeks ago. I was not told that the awning would pool with water if it rained. The weight of the water (light rain) lowered the height of the awning and had to duck down to go down the steps at the end of the awning. I called and asked why this was happening. They refused to install my awning on my 18 GA metal roof truss. Said it would not carry the weight. I offered to take full responsibility still no good. Very disappointed.
At the start, this seemed like a great company. It likely is. But, their installation team is far below par. On June 13th, I paid the money to order my awning. I secured financing through the company. Then, very young installers came to my house, put holes in my siding and indicated they need me to contact a contractor to get a beam installed before they could move forward. Understandable. When I met with the sales rep, I told him my concerns about the Awning. When I open the door to the house, I was afraid that the door would hit the extension arm. The rep assured me it would not. Two weeks after the Awning was installed,I was sitting outside under the awning, and I went to enter my house the door open, partially clipping the extension arm, the door ripping my foot apart.
