I have seen Dr. Popa for several different health problems and he has demonstrated expertise in caring for them all.
I have leg pain. They took an Xray and the doctor explained the difference from the Xray taken several months ago and the one taken today. I clearly understood the differences in the two X-rays from his explanation of the areas on the two X-rays.
Dr Popa learned about my goals and interests and helped me replace both my knees using Mako Robotics. It’s been a great year. He and staff were accessible and responsive. Highly recommend Mako if you are an active person looking to get back up to speed quickly. Can’t say enough about Dr Popa and his skill and kindness.Make the drive to Smithfield or Clayton. I was from Greenville. 100% recommend!!!!
Was very professional and very attentive to my medical issues.
Dr. Popa took the time to explain my knee problems and he preformed my surgery. He even personally called the next day to check on me.
Dr. Popa listened to me as I explained my injury,( hip pain) explained what he recommended for testing and treatment and asked me how my healing process was progressing at a follow up.He answered any questions I had and gave me options for rehab.I’ve seen him before an injury and every time he’s been very attentive to what I said and fixed my issue.I would recommend him to anyone who asked.
Seems very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, looked for other options to help me before jumping to surgery, pleasant demeanor.
Dr Popa was terrific. I had surgery this morning and have already been up and walking. I am virtually pain free. I'm so pleased that I chose him for Mt surgery.
