Dr Popa takes time to sit and explain everything. I have aphasia and he was very patient with me.
Doctor Popa always wants to know how am I doing and if things are going well. My wife and I are of the mindset that he is truly sincere and cares about my wellbeing. I am also of the mindset that he looks upon each person with compassion and not just as a source of income.
Explored and explained all options before deciding on total knee replacement, including physical therapy, which did help. Good listener all along the way. I felt this was the correct approach for me coming to the best decision.
Dr. M. Popa is an excellent orthopedic surgeon who cares about his patients. Dr. Popa is candid with his patients, listens to their concerns, and presents a pleasant bedside manner. I am grateful to be a patient of his, as he has performed my surgical procedures.
The visit was to determine the condition of my knees. I am not able to walk without a cane or walker. I wanted to get an ingestion to lower the pain in my knees.
Great Doctor and one of the best bed side manners around I highly recommend him !!!
Dr. Popa listened to all my concerns while in hospital and he visited me every day until I left to ensure me of everything to do to get better and I did all my therapy as well as at home and never missed any appointments.
Dr. Popa is a caring and skilled surgeon. He listened to my concerns about the surgery and addressed my many questions. The physical therapists I worked with after my surgery were the coaches I needed to help me restore complete mobility. So grateful we have EmergeOrtho in Smithfield.
The office is well organized, friendly, polite and punctual. I have never waited for my appointment time. They always see me at the time of my appointment. Staff is very professional and thorough and the doctors are attentive, professional and caring. I highly recommend. My surgery was a huge success!
