Everything was clearly explained prior to the procedure, and all questions answered. Dr Popa took into account my hope to go home the same day.
Dr Popa is amazing! He listens to your concerns, provides you with all the information you need in terms you can understand and very caring! He also has a great sense of humor and friendly! I will have to have hip surgery in my future and I will definitely feel comfortable letting him perform it. He didn’t make me feel rushed about it though, instead said whenever your ready

Dr Popa is amazing . He did my knee replacement Nov 2024 and I have full range of motion and walking with no assistive devices. He is friendly and personable and explains everything in detail . Answered all questions and I never feel rushed
Explain the surgery & let me select month for surgery. Explained to me how many times I could get an injection before the surgery
I saw Dr. Popa for my right hip that was giving me some pain. He checked it out and we concluded that I didn't need surgery now but need to do physical therapy exercises and weight bearing exercises to maintain a healthy hip. Dr. Popa was very nice. Answered all my questions and really put me at ease about my hip. Everyone at Emerge Orthopedic in Clayton was great and helpful.
I had a list of questions about knee replacement surgery. Dr. Popa answered all of them in a very thorough and professional manner. He took all the time I needed to understand exactly what the surgery will entail.
Dr Popa is very personable and friendly. The staff at the front desk is also very helpful and friendly.
Explains the entire process of the knee replacement, I have the utmost confidence in him! I'm greatful that I was introduced to him!
