Mayday was contracted to replace our roof and siding due to storm damage. Communication was decent in the beginning when they were working to start/complete the roof. As far as I know, the roof was done right and looks good from the ground. The siding is another story. It took multiple calls/emails/texts to our project manager to get status updates. I have been trying for 5 weeks to finish the job roofing job. There's a broken ventilation vent and a few pieces of cedar shake siding missing. I have tried unsuccessful to get the work finished. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Roof was completed very fast and wonderfully. Siding is another story. Has taken 3 weeks to get the siding done on my house and garage and it is still not 100% complete. Would not recommend this conpany for siding. Sub contractors seem to be used for majority of their work.
If I could give a zero I would. Get a call yesterday (Saturday) from the owner Matt stating I owe him money 3 months after a job. There have been no invoices sent at all. The only amount known was the agreed amount when the job was completed and paid in full several weeks after completion. Mind you when his crew came to do my roof they went to my neighbor’s house and took the roof off before they realized they were at the wrong house. some guy named Zack ******stopped at my house and said I had wind damage to my shingles. He went on the roof pulled up a couple of shingles and told me some BS how he could get the insurance to put on a new roof. Now I have to fix that. That was the last I ever heard or saw of him. I would give them no stars if I could and would never do business with them.
The owner Matt has a fabulous eye for picking up colors and patterns. Even though it took 3 months to get my siding done it definitely looks fabulous. They also did some extra stuff that I really appreciate. But that is where the good stopped.... They broke my doorbell, they broke a downspout for my gutters, they also broke some pieces of deck trim and they refuse to fix any bit of it. The sales rep was respectful and helpful, but told me that he had never had a claim denied from my insurance company and that he felt there was a 90-95% chance an insurance claim would be successful. The adjuster came out and found no evidence of wind or hail damage to my roof. I can't speak to the quality of work since none was done, but feel like I was slightly misled by the rep about the extent of damage to my roof.
It took 3 months but this company stuck by our side! It was a battle with the mortgage company. Getting the paper work exactly right. Seemed as though if we didn't have a t crossed they found it. Then off to square one again.. Everything finally went through. Thank you MAYDAY for your patients!
