Welcome McAbee Veterinary Hospital, established in 1962 by Dr. Harry S. McAbee, has been providing quality care for family pets in Central Florida for nearly 50 years. Following his service in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, Dr. Harry S. McAbee graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1951. Dr. Scott W. McAbee, a 1990 graduate of the same school, took over the practice in 1991. Our 27 employees, including 5 doctors with combined professional experience of over 80 years, are committed to compassionately providing pets with the most up-to-date wellness care, and diagnostic and treatment plans. They’re a great clinic. Knowledgeable, kind, caring. Everything we were looking for in a clinic to treat our precious babies. We’ve seen several doctors here and have only had good experiences. All of the staff has been very nice, helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.

I’ve trusted my fur babies to McAbee Vets for over 20 years. Was just there yesterday with my pit and as always, they treat my pets and me special. Great service and helped me calm my very anxious dog.

Definitely recommend this place! Our dog had needed emergency surgery and unfortunately our vet was completely booked. We were super worrisome, but we were recommended to check this place out. They fit us in super quickly and only charged $125 for the initial emergency visit. The vets and surgery techs were absolutely amazing and took such good care of our boy. Will be keeping their info!

Our vet was called out of town unexpectedly and we had 8 newborn puppies that needed tails cropped and a mamma that needed to be checked out. They made room for us on their very busy schedule. Very friendly, polite and professional! We’ll most likely be going there from now on! Great experience!

McAbee Veterinary Hospital has been caring for our animals for over 20 years. Three years ago we lost our beloved Boxer, Waylon, and last May our sweet Frenchie, Ellie. I never expected to see Dr. Jones again, but yesterday, we took our new Australian Shepherd puppy to see her. Dr. McAbee, Dr. Jones, and all of the staff at McAbee have always been there for us and our fur babies. They are caring and compassionate and always take whatever time is necessary to answer our questions and comfort us when necessary. Given a choice, I will always choose Mcabee
