Carmen came out. He has been to our place 3 different times now. He is a very polite, knowledgeable young man who listens carefully before getting started. Most repair people are dismissive and don't really care to listen before trying to diagnose the problem. As it turns out, I had already fixed the issue myself by vacuuming out the AC floor drain, but Carmen's very thorough checking to be certain was reassuring. McWilliams does not charge extra for holidays or weekends which other companies do and can get quite expensive. ... read more

The technician was quick and professional. He explained that the system had been resetting itself after the power outage. It took longer (hours longer) as the unit hadn't been turned "off" after the power outage when power returned. Further, he said when that happens and power is returned again to just turn the unit off, then wait 5-10 minutes and turn the system back on. The system will reset, much faster..
