I had gone to a Pekin, IL vet for 14 years with different pets. They never acted like they even recognized me or my pets when I went in twice a year. It wasn't until I went here that I got a vet that actually acted like my pet and I were important. The vet, Dr. G. explained extremely important things to me about my dog's care that the other vet never mentioned. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a very good vet.

We have been using Meadowbrook for many years for our pet medical care. Warm, friendly, professional staff. They care about my pets. Dr. Wulfekuhle is fantastic. I'm very happy with Meadowbrook. We have used them for boarding also and I feel confident that my dogs are in good hands when they are in the caring hands of the staff of Meadowbrook.

We love Meadowbrook! We have been taking our dog to the vets and and boarding her at Meadowbrook since she was a puppy; she is always so excited to go there. They are typically able to fit us in quickly when we need to bring her in and we have always been very pleased with the service and attention to any issues. We would never go anywhere else while in Peoria.

Nice facilities and good staff. Glad we found it! Dr. Polley and his assistant were very nice to Betty. Now we know our new puppy is healthy and we are happy! Spaying is scheduled, we will let you know how it goes.

I cannot tell you just how wonderful this clinic truly is. I have never found a vet that I have loved so much (both Drs. Wulfekuhle and Polley). It is usually easy to get a last minute appointment. The girls at the front desk are friendly and knowledgeable. The clinic itself is clean and modern. The doctors are caring and spend a lot of time with you and your pet. This is where I take my beloved cat, Ruby. She hates it here, but that's no surprise. I have had to board here on a couple occasions when I've gone out of town for a while and she does okay. The staff is very understanding that my cat is difficult, and does everything they can to make her visits a little easier. The only issue I have is that I have taken her here since 2006 and they just now tell me she can get 3 year shots instead of 1 year shots, thus saving a lot of headaches. Oh well.

The good stuff: Their vets are very skilled and they have empathy and compassion. Also, once you are established if your pet has an issue they get them in pretty quickly. The bad: This place charges A LOT! I have had the impression more than once that finding every opportunity to add charges during an exam is included in their staff training.
