I have been a customer with this establishment for many years and have been very pleased with the service but today was very disappointing. I needed to go inside for what should have been a quick withdrawal and ended up leaving after waiting in a line of 4 people which doesn't sound like much but the Only teller was trying her best to help the customers at the drive up window as well as the customers in-line. MCU was recommended to me for a Mass Saves home heating loan. I was told by numerous people that I could apply online and go there and pick up the check. I applied and provided all the information. The contractor was at my house installing the equipment , so I drove to Metro and after 20 minutes was told my loan was denied. I called Mass Save and was directed to another company for my loan. Ebill payments may take too long to process. It can take 2-3 weeks to process a payment to a small company or to a city's tax collector. I've had to go back to writing checks while I shop around for a new bank.

Basically no customer service reps at this branch. To open a time sensitive account is impossible. Staffing only can do teller work unless they are a manger. The manager only takes appointments and takes weeks for an available time. Opening an account takes 45 minutes in their system. Yikes!

I'm in the middle of getting a loan and when i call in to the bank they ask me If i wanted the added credit protection. i couldnt make up my mind within 2 minutes i was hoping the person on the phone would give me more information about this added protection. So the loan person im speaking to tells me that they can no longer talk to me about this loan and that i need to call back tomorrow. It was less then 2 minutes that i couldn't make up my mind . No one answers their one phone number - been trying for two hours this time. On hold for over a half hour 3 times already- livid! They apparently are not open for business - go elsewhere. I will never use them again and will delete them as soon as I can! No way to email easily either just the CEO that also does not respond!

As much as I love credit unions and the better service I generally find there, I can never get a hold of the branch managers at Metro's Framingham location, mainly Dan. I had a task that required a manager. But it's been incredibly difficult to get one on a call or in person. This past winter, I called once a day for a week straight and got voicemail every time. I tried calling at opening hour, tried at lunch, tried different times hoping for a sweet spot. No luck, no callback. I tried email, in case that was easier. ... read more

When I bought my car the car dealer said I would get a discount if I opened an account with Metro Credit Union. I went and opened an account with $200 and asked "Are there any fees with this account?" I think this is a simple question and the women told me no there are NO fees with the type of account. I asked this question twice. I left the money in the account for 6 or so months and was thinking of transferring more money into the account and then noticed my balance was something like $100. Worst bank ever. Better hope your bank card information isn't stolen. They have a whole process set up to prevent you from making a timely and effective complaint.
