Printer Very good quality amd price
Nice printer All the bells and whistles for cheap, can't complain! Wifi connectivity is 100%, always fires right up when I need it. Very easy ink cartridge installation/replacement, anyone could figure it out. Not the fastest in terms of pages per minute, so if you print thousands of pages you may want to spend more for a faster one. Perfect for casual at home use though.
Everything we needed it to be We ordered this printer to replace an HP model we had that was temperamental at best. We needed a simple home office printer that was reliable and easy to use. This printer has met both of those needs perfectly so far.
Amazing printer. Although not worth 150 (I bought it in 2019 for 50) Amazing printer for its (then) price. I bought it in 2019 for 49.99 - for the price it’s at now (159.99) you can find one just as good. This printer has never given me any issues with connectivity- which is the main issue with wireless printers. Prints great, and the ink is easy enough to find although expensive from official Brother vendors. If you find it for 50 bucks - cop it. If 150- find another one.
Good print quality All works fine and was easy to set up. The touch screen could be much larger for us old folks.
Sold for over two times the market value, it was still the best option of what was available. First a correction of the product model. We purchased an MFC-J497DW. We have used Brother all-in-one printers for the last 14 years. Not finding a new Brother at mfg. listed price, we contemplated an Epson. After reviewing that product and seeing the cost and availability of the ink, we elected to spend the extra money and purchased this Brother.
