Great printer I spent a long time reviewing different printer options for my home office. I'm extremely happy with this printer.
Great Update to Home Office I picked this all-in-one to replace an older Brother that had suddenly/inexplicably (old age is NOT an explanation) stopped printing legibly ,,,,, just scribbles. I was NOT disappointed ,,,, set-up was something that even I (at age 76) could handle; scans work fine; print from PC is SUPER quick. ONLY disappointment is that the new Brother uses different ink cartridges than the old. At my age I hate to say it, BUT newer generations (incl. those of Brother) are quicker and smarter !!
Good printer Easy to set up and use. Good quality printer and the ink is cheap!
Good but not great This printer does get the job done. I have no complaints with the print jobs however, it will not print if you are out of any of the ink. If you just want to print in black and white and one of the color ink cartridges is out, it will not print at all. There is no way to bypass this feature and it is rather annoying. I rarely print anything in color so I don't have a need to buy color ink, except for the fact that the printer HAS to have it in order to work. Exactly as advertised! Good in all aspects of operation
Slow but steady This printer is not for someone who wants the product "now". It is slow. Having said that I will also add the print is very clear and the printer connects EVERY time with my PC. My last printer was such a headache to get it going, not this Brother, works every time. The touch screen is a little bit trial and error on how to use it. but once again, once you are connected it is a breeze to use. Have not tried the fax part of it and probably never will. Will fail after a year It stopped printing correctly. Can’t get it fixed.
Buy it! You won't be disappointed!! I love this printer. Its bluetooth/wireless to my computer so no cord. Its also connected to my phone for wireless printing. The color pages are beautiful!! Fast printing!! So if you're looking for a printer for your home business like me or for home or school this is the one!!
