I couldn't be happier My new brother has been flawless. So nice not to have to clean print heads all the time. And if you do this printer gives you the choice of which color and what level of cleaning. NOT a all or nothing cleaning like my previous printer.
A fine machine, but a couple of serious business-related drawbacks Overall, this is a very good printer/scanner/copier. Best Printer I have ever had This printer is fast. This printer is easy to use. The tech support is awesome. They spent 1 hour on the phone with me to help me set it up. I am a Brother person for life!
Works very Well!!! This printer is super! The scanning controls are easy and very effective; it will scan both sides of any size sheet, simultaneously. It prints and scans 11x17 color!! The Ink is very long lasting - just as advertised. Great for a small business... you wont miss out on anything the larger companies pay many more dollars just to rent!

Mostly a good printer This printer is much faster in both one sided and duplex modes than my old HP printer. It probably would have received 5 stars except for the fact that it pull the paper in sideways which is not conducive to printing checks from Quicken. If you have less than a full sheet of checks you have to attach it to a full sheet of paper to get it to pull through the feed.
quality product This is my first purchase of a Brother's product I have always bought HP and Epson printers I still like HP and Epson but in this particular case Brothers rule this thing is awesome! !!!
OK SORT OF At first I was really pleased, then Brothers software update acted like nagware prompting for a firmware update . I was skeptical but finally put it in . Dag gum it, poor choice on my part , now like HP it uses blue along with black to print and the so called investment kicks in at the store where they only sell tri packs of color. Fast, great quality, large format printer Love the printer. Wish it had a bit smaller footprint, but for what it does (up to 11x17), not sure they could make it any smaller. Had similar models from both HP and Epson, neither of which ever worked very well in wireless mode. The Brother printer works great over WIFI!
