This printer is good for home office but hate the cost of the ink cartridges. Good printer for home office, buy the larger ink cartridges, try not to use the color settings unless you absolutely have to and you’ll be fine in terms of cost benefit if you don’t print more than 3-4 reams of paper year... otherwise look for a LaserJet. Easy to set up This printer was easy to set and get started. Gives clear prints and the ink is lasting longer than my previous printer.
I love it’s small size. Nice compact little printer. Does everything a bigger printer will do but is less of an eyesore. My daughter has a six year old Brother and she pushed me to buy one. It was a little pricey but if it lasts more than a year and I can still get ink for it, then I’m happy. And it has a big paper drawer.
Not user friendly Instructions are brief and not helpful. Printer is difficult to use. Color is only average. I wish I had not bought this printer.

Great Device, Software & Support Could Be Improved The hardware itself seems to be well-engineered and reliable. The software and support however were mediocre. Good value printer. Go printer for the money. Pro’s include compact. footprint, good printing speed, duplex printing, better than expected scanning capability, reasonable ink consumption. Con’s: Noisy while operating in any mode, flimsy plastic paper “catcher” that can easily be broken if you are not careful.
NICE PRINTER BUT INK REPLACEMENT SYSTEM IS NOT ECO-CONSCIOUS! I hunted and hunted for a desktop printer with a rear-feed feature, as I frequently use card stock in a small home business and found it constantly jammed in other printers I've had.
