It performs very well as advertised and as expected. It took a slight learning curve to fully appreciate what this unit can do. I really appreciate the tech support which was courteous, professional, and life time. This is a solid machine that I use daily.

Way fast, low cents per page, Everything I need in a multipurpose small business office printer Have owned high and low end color and b/w printers. I have only had this printer for a few days yet I am impressed with the speed and the low cost per page. The document feeder scanning is suprisingly fast too. I would expect it to be as reliable as the last Brother printer I had. The MFC 9700 lasted many years and gave me it's last fatal error code last week. My Big color HP lasted longer but cost 3 times as much.
Great value for a 3 in 1. Easier to setup than previous models. Wifi works better with less issues on my network. Fast scanning, copying, faxing, all for the price of a mid grade scanner only. I have other Brother printers in my small business and they seem to provide the best performance for the money, especially when considering the toner costs. Knockoff Dell toner is cheap, OKI toner is expensive, IBM toner will cost you an organ donation. Brother toner is on the cheaper side.
This unit is amazing. It is super fast This unit is amazing. It is super fast. I had a check written with light blue ink that I tried to copy and you couldn't read the copy. I raised the darkness and hoorah! This unit is a bit noisier than I would like since it is sitting right next to me, but I will get used to it! Of course, I could move it as well.
