Great printer, it does everything you need to do ... Great printer, it does everything you need to do in a small business environment . The only downfall is that the toner that came with the printer it only printed about 1000 sheets after it ran out of ink.
Plug and play network Printer/fax/scanner/copier. This printer was recommended to me by the owner of a local printer repair shop. It took me all of 10 minutes to set up this printer: plug in the network LAN; plug in the power cord and PC/USB connector and it's ready to go. The images displayed in the small display make it clear from the outset the function desired. I haven't figured out yet how to change the default destination on my PC for the scanned images, so I guess I'll have to read the manual.

Fast Printing and Scanning But Loud The MFC L5900DW is a fast printer and scanner. The scanning speed is really impressive for such an inexpensive machine. The printing output is clear and also very fast. Just be aware, this printer is LOUD. When it prints especially, the noise level is surprising.
Excellent printer. Excellent printer. I've been using an older MFC model for 10+ years and decided it was time to upgrade. Amazing how quickly this goes from resting to printing a page. Duplex works fine. The screen is nice and allows for easy programming of certain settings.
