I was referred by my physical therapist from Sommers. I love Dr Slimack I had a total knee replacement surgery last June. He did a wonderful job and the rehab at the hospital was Great! I have now scheduled my other knee replacement surgery for this June. I love this surgeon and his staff and Froedtert South hospital. Thank you
I highly recommend Dr Slimack for hip replacement surgery. I had both hips replaced the same day and was up and walking (a bit) that afternoon. My hip pain was much less immediately after surgery along with my left knee being more flexible and causing less pain - that knee had been replaced 6 months earlier. Amazing how much hip replacement surgery changed my life from relatively inactive to active within 4 weeks. Dr Slimack and his staff are great to work with, too. Very friendly!
As my husband approaches surgery, his doctor says, “Prepare for the worst.” When I consulted with Dr. Slimack for a total hip replacement, he said,” I see no reason you can’t do this and do it well” and I went into surgery believing that. There were some painful, exhausting times, but 26 days after surgery, I am returning to work with no restrictions and no pain. What a positive experience!
I made along drive to get the best and he is. I had total knee replacement done one in Feb 2017 and the other in May 2017. I'm going back for my yearly check up. I can't wait to see him so he can see how great things have gone. I enjoy hunting and fishing with out pain. The pain before was so great I didn't enjoy it anymore. I feel better than I did 20 years ago. You won't go wrong by having Dr. Slimack take care of you. Thanks Brett
Dr. Slimack replaced a partial knee and this was my third knee surgery. I had a full replacement 17 years ago so I am an expert on pain and rehab. I saw Dr. Slimack 18 days after surgery and couldn't thank him enough for the wonderful procedure. . From day one I was amazed at my ability to walk. The partial knee wasn't aligned right and I was so pleased to look down and my foot was straight! Within two weeks after surgery I was walking in the house without a cane! Thank You! Great Job!
I highly recommend Dr. Slimack. He has a wonderful bedside manner in addition to his top notch skills in anterior hip replacement. He answers all of your questions and his office is extremely efficient. The pain relief after the surgery is minimal compared to the pain prior to surgery. I can't thank Dr. Slimack enough for his excellent and compassionate care.
I had a Total right replacement performed by Dr Michael J Slimack. Was off work 3 months , went back to work as a truck driver,(35 years). 7 months later I felt serious pain I. My knee, went back to Dr Slimack , he diagnosed it as a broken tibia . Dealt with pain for several months, he performed a 2nd Reversal procedure at MY expense to correct the problem? Was off another 2 months. My leg is still giving me problems after several years. Go figure? Juan
