I was referred by my physical therapist from Sommers. I love Dr Slimack I had a total knee replacement surgery last June. He did a wonderful job and the rehab at the hospital was Great! I highly recommend Dr Slimack for hip replacement surgery. I had both hips replaced the same day and was up and walking (a bit) that afternoon. My hip pain was much less immediately after surgery along with my left knee being more flexible and causing less pain - that knee had been replaced 6 months earlier. Amazing how much hip replacement surgery changed my life from relatively inactive to active within 4 weeks. Dr Slimack and his staff are great to work with, too. Very friendly!
As my husband approaches surgery, his doctor says, “Prepare for the worst.” When I consulted with Dr. Slimack for a total hip replacement, he said,” I see no reason you can’t do this and do it well” and I went into surgery believing that. There were some painful, exhausting times, but 26 days after surgery, I am returning to work with no restrictions and no pain. What a positive experience!
I made along drive to get the best and he is. I had total knee replacement done one in Feb 2017 and the other in May 2017. I'm going back for my yearly check up. I can't wait to see him so he can see how great things have gone. I enjoy hunting and fishing with out pain. The pain before was so great I didn't enjoy it anymore. I feel better than I did 20 years ago. You won't go wrong by having Dr. Slimack take care of you. Thanks Brett
