I have seen many physicians over the years. However I must say that Dr McCarthy is one of the most thoughtful and caring physician I have encountered. His exams are very thorough as he is searching for the cause of your dilemma that you are experiencing. The methodology he uses to get to the root of the cause is one that use all diatonic tools available. But mostly he listens and evaluates and pays close attention to what YOU the patient is saying. I would recommend him highly to anyone one needing a pulmonologist. .
Dr McCarthy was very thorough with my examination and explanation. He did not rush thru my appointment at all.

Dr. McCarthy is an excellent, caring and attentive doctor. He has called me on weekends with test results and has answered messages on MyChart in the early morning hours. He has never rushed my appointment and is open to explore all options for treatment. I highly recommend him!

Excellent Doctor!!! Dr McCarthy is always pleasant, he always takes the time to diagnose your issue, and discuss with you your treatment plan. He is never in a rush, and rarely runs late. If he is, I know it’s for a good reason, and if I needed extra medical attention he would do the same for me. I’ve been seeing him for over 25 years, and I’m thankful he is my doctor.
