Dr. McCarthy is very patient and takes the time to speak to his patients. He answers questions and explains conditions and test results in a way the patient can understand. Considers and explains all the patient’s other health issues and interactions involved as related to his treatments.

Always gives the appearance that he is very concerned about my health and my c o p d condition, have I changed any medications and do I have any questions for him. He always seems very sincere, I like that. He has explained to me things that other pulmonary doctors I have had never took the time to do. And if he prescribes an exam for me he gets back to me in a timely fashion with the results and give me his analysis. He and his staff were excellent. He explained my condition. He was very patient and had a good sense of humor.
