Charged over $400 dollars to snake the toilet because we were out of town and our renters had a problem. Never again. that is ridiculous! Then one week later, the problem reoccurred and we had to fix it ourselves after paying $400 for supposedly guaranteed work. I will never use them again. If I could give a zero, I would.

Looking at your invoice I see we were dispatched on a weekend and we do charge a weekend rate which our customers must agree to before we dispatch a plumber. We also did more than snake a toilet as our records show you had a partial main sewer issue causing your toilet to back up into your floor drains. I moved into the area a week ago and had just had a friend connect my ice maker on my fridge. The next day I noticed water dripping under my sink where the line to the ice maker is. No one could help me until the next weekend so I called Bachman Plumbing. Someone came the next day and I was told all that was wrong was a loose nut/screw on the valve. He tightened it within a minute and charged me $70 for a service call. I thought that was a little much and the only reason I gave them two stars was because they did come t... read more

Hi Kay, a dispatch and evaluation fee is standard for professional licensed companies such as ours. Everyone that requests our services is told about this fee at the time of booking. It looks as though it was a fairly simple fix for our plumber so they only charged you that fee upon completion of the job. We do have costs associated with every call (Plumber’s wages, trucks, gas, insurance, office staff, inventory, phones, building, taxes etc). I am new to Cache Valley and I have been searching for a plumber to come and connect a water line in my basement to the outside so I am hook up my sprinklers. We already had a landscaper look at it and said it was an easy job but a plumber would have to do it. I called Mike Bachman and HE WAS BEYOND RUDE. HE stated yelling at me and said "LOOK WE ARE REALLY REALLY BUSY SO I CANT TELL YOU IF WE CAN DO IT OR NOT. So I hung up the phone. What a jerk!
