I would suggest thinking hard about getting a Mini. And from working with the Austin location. My new 2015 4 door hardtop transmission failed, almost killed me (car rolled me over), a BMW engineer (of course) said nothing was wrong, to which I still have NO documentation of that inspection and now it's been at collision place since September (THREE MONTHS) to which I paid $8000 and still it sits there with no part. I was leased a vehicle that can't be repaired? Do I have any legal recourse option? I've been given no replacem... read more

Had an appointment wasn't told I would be leaving my car and did not have a rental lined up. Wasn't offered a loaner either. My appointment was at ten no rental available until 2 that day. Multiple items found wrong with car but I had warranty after I had rented car for 3 days they gave me a loaner. I asked for an appraisal so I could sell my car. Go to pick up my car and all keys on my key ring are missing. He insinuated I took them off. No appraisal was done. Very bad customer service.

Mini of Austin can't recognize a dead cell in a 16 month old battery as a defect. Hiding behind the fact that something caused the voltage to get too low 300 miles ago. That scares me more than mid-diagnosis of a battery problem. Does the car have some parasitic voltage problem that is manifesting itself after 16 months of usage- I would expect better engineering and electronics. The OEM battery is manufactured by Exide.
