Highly recommend Mission Road Animal Clinic. My golden doodle is almost 12 years old and she has been coming here for many years. Excellent care. Dr. Tate is so kind and gentle with my dog. She covers all the bases - costs, benefits, etc. She answers all my questions and I never feel hurried. I trust her with my pet and my future pets.
We have been taking all of our pets here for years - 3 cats and 3 Great Danes. Dr. Benschoter is a Kansas State University trained DVM, and for me that is the cream of the crop. Everyone is always really friendly and excited to see our pets. Needless to say, we love MRAC and everything they do for us.

This is a wonderful practice catering to dogs and cats. They take such good care of our two dogs and all the staff knows us and them. They greet us personally on each call and visit and are so helpful with our questions. We have brought our dogs there for many reasons - grooming, boarding, sick and well visits, dietary concerns, and even storm terrors. The doctors and staff are such excellent resources, we look forward to going there! Highly recommend this office.

Great service. I've seen both docs and they're very helpful, answered all of my questions, spent plenty of time examining my pup. Always very helpful over the phone as well. Highly recommend.
This is by far the best animal hospital in the Shawnee Mission area. The receptionists and technicians are very friendly and helpful. The vets are knowledgeable and really care for your animals.
Our dog got a vaccine at this clinic and had a severe allergic reaction with full body hives and facial swelling. Instead of giving steroid, all he got was Benadryl from this clinic. After a stressful and scary weekend where he had bloody diarrhea and vomiting along with continued hives, we finally saw a great vet in an ER who gave us IM steroid and Benadryl to break the cycle and a steroid taper. This isn't about the clinic but the grooming! Was told groomer had lots of experience and he was good. Dropped my dog off at 7:45 am he called at 10:30 am to talk about what I wanted. I told him my dog wasn't a fan of grooming but has been to groomers and has done fine!!! 5:15 pm I pick my dog up was charged $70 to find out he didn't do anything to her!! Said she didn't like the clippers when turned on! Really I explained this she has been clipped many times... all he did was bath, brush her out and nails and charged me... read more
