Mom loves the place, although she would rather still be with us she agrees it's a great place. There are quite a few activities, not all for mom, but a decent variety. The staff is great, very caring. I've seen the food and eaten there numerous times and I've enjoyed it every time.

Our family had an in person tour and the big issue with this community for us was that the rooms were in separate buildings and the residents would have to go outside to get to the dining, activity area.

Unfortunately things started to go downhill for me when Covid hit and over the last two years I have gone downhill with my health as well. After moving in with my son for six months we decided that this move to Monte Vista village would be the best place for me. Not have I only found this to be a very pleasant place to live I have also made lifelong friends. It’s not just an over 55+ facility, it is also a place to enjoy special events we go shopping we go out to lunch, our doctors appointments are taking care of three days ... read more

The staff here really makes a great effort to make everyone as comfortable. We needed a more functionable sleeping situation and [name removed] and her associates found a bed for us. It's not an easy task to move beds around but the staff made it happen. Very grateful to the whole staff. Thank you Monte Vista!!!!

Monte Vista Village has been the perfect place for my mother and father who are in their mid 90's and can live independently but appreciate being pampered with delicious meals prepared for them, excellent housekeeping and laundry service, on-site response should they need help, and plenty of amenities and activities to make life fun and interesting. I live in the Denver area and wanted to take a vacation to San Diego-- my favorite spot to visit, I reside in an Assisted Living Community and was able to make arrangements at Monte Vista Village for a two week stay that met my care needs. I was very pleased with the facilities. The food was good; the Caregivers were excellent; and the grounds were beautiful.

A gentle breeze roams through the compound frequently tempering the hot summer sun. Residents always want to chat with the newby. There are many benches to relax on and a shady park for your reflections. You could watch the fish swim instead. A great place to add a new chapter to your life.

My uncle has lived at Monte Vista Village for about a month. He is very comfortable in his studio apartment. The staff is kind to him and accommodates his needs. He really enjoys the meals and socializing with his neighbors. He is very content living there.
