My name is Edgar and I was gifted a set of headlight bulbs (H11 2stroke 3.0) for my truck on December of 2023. It’s now December of 2025 and only light is fully discolored to a deep purple color. The other light has dimmed some as well. I contacted morimoto for and provided them with details photos of the original packaging as well as an incident timeline and explanation. Great taillight product for 2024 Ford Super Duty, super bright for both brake and backup lighting and BLIS sensor mounting worked perfectly. Could not be more pleased with the result and ease of installation.
On my third set of warranty lights for my ram 2500 the new set still has the burn issue on the corner of the lens assembly. Another new issue is the lenses have a spider webbing cracking effect now if you’re looking for headlight assemblies that will last stay with OEM and stay away from Morimoto.
After 3 1/2 months of emails and getting the wrong part to repair the headlight I ended up splicing and repairing it myself. Not the way you should have to fix a thousand dollar headlight. After my customer service experience ill never buy them again. 5 year warranty, ya right. Didn't last a year. In the emails I was told its OK to bypass the low voltage box. 🤣
I would like to start off by saying that I've been a huge fan of Morimoto products and I've purchased just about every available item for my vehicle. This most recent purchase has been been very unpleasant. I purchased a set of XB tail lights for my Ford Raptor and once they arrived they were clearly damaged when shipped, no signs of impact what so ever.
