Had a burger. It was good. Fries were hot and crispy. However, the food is not the reason I'm writing this review. The service is, specifically a lady named Fran (I hope I remembered that correctly). She was full of energy, a pleasure to talk to, and never stopped moving! If she wasn't wiping down tables, she was putting away ketchup. If she wasn't helping a customer, she was running an order. Having a super waitress makes a meal that much more enjoyable! Myron's Deli inside the Isle Casino offers up large portions and still leaves you with enough pocket change to hit the slots. My New Year's Eve dinner with my sweetie was Myron's Hash and Eggs. Hash has loads of corned beef an served with 2 eggs your way and toast or bagel with all the fixin's. This place does a great job breaking through the "casino food" genre and establishing itself as a great New York style deli. The prices are just reasonable enough to keep us coming back. I highly recommend the Nosher fries and the Jewish penicillin. Complimentary pickles are a nice touch as well. Only downside: the staff have been surly with us in the later hours and the portions are not always consistent. Sometimes a dish will have way more or way less of an ingredient than it usually does. Quality First? My tuchis! eh This Kosher-style deli has declined considerably in recent years. The Pastrami & Roast Beef is simply inedible. It has an organic-like aftertaste. This wasn't the case when I began frequenting Myron's in 2010. They obviously changed brand names. They would rather sacrifice quality & taste to save money on food - be it Kosher, Kosher-Style, or otherwise. So I went here last night, I didn't expect much for being 2 am but I should have listened to my gut and just went to McDonald's. It took 45 mins for 2 eggs sandwiches. That finally she looked over at me patiently waiting and I guess realized that my to go order had been ready sitting there. I understand when your having a bad night at work and overwhelmed with a little rush especially at this hour but she sure didn't hide it. I had the matzoh ball soup and some rye bread. That was it. Our server was nice enough to check with the cooks prior to me ordering it to confirm there was no onion in the broth or cooked the stock either. I very much appreciated that (because I cannot have onion or cooked onion...among other food items) although she did seem quite rushed and maybe a tad annoyed about having to do so, but she did it, so I'm thankful for that. Myron was Jewish. He knew everyone. And he knew food too. This deli, that bears his name, serves it up diner style. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is great and there is plenty of it. And served in a casino, it won't break your bank.

Delis are a tough category. The older generations that grew up with them want the classics, while the younger folks want something just a bit more modern. Well, somehow Myron's figured that mix out and serves it up inside, of all places, a casino! It kind of makes sense. People young and old like to foolishly giveaway their money in electronic games of chance, so a deli like this would have to have some appeal across the board. I love this place! The prices are very fair and service is always on point. It has a relaxed old school atmosphere. I love eating their steak and eggs with their delicious potatoes! The food is always consistent! I also heard their soups and sandwiches are pretty good as well. Try it out you wont be disappointed!
